Being nominated for the One Lovely Blog Award is most special indeed. I cannot recall the last time I received an award. Oh, to be named lovely!
A big thank you to The Blazing Trail for this honor, which I accept most graciously and humbly. If you haven’t already had the pleasure, be sure to visit The Blazing Trail for an amazing blogging adventure.
Here are rules for the award:
1. I need to thank the person who nominated me.
2. Share 7 things about myself that you still may not know. (see below)
3. Nominate 15 bloggers. (see below)
4. Notify the nominees that I have done so.
5. Put the logo of the award on my blog site.

Here are seven things about myself you may or may not know. Hopefully, upon reading them you will still find me interesting enough to read my blog.
1. I called myself “Misty Meadows” when I was small child and at times would answer to no other name, or so I’m told.
2. I come from a big family and have five siblings. My mom and dad also come from large families. My mom is the oldest of six kids, and my dad is the youngest of 12. I have easily over 200 cousins, but no one really knows for sure. Someone is doing a family tree.
3. My least favorite thing to do in life is moving. Anything to do with moving and relocating and packing….I’ve done it A LOT!
4. Things I wish I had a magical switch for: getting ready in the morning, and at night time. I find it such a pain. And please, don’t expect to converse with me in the morning until I’ve had a cup of coffee.
5. I’m live with a ghost. I’m almost positive.
6. I used to dance with many regional ballet companies performing classical works. However, probably one of my favorite experiences was when I performed a theatrical production of “The Tempest.” I was the wind, and had blue and green hair and sparkling skin. Make-up took well over an hour to put on.
7. One of my scariest moments was when someone (I don’t know who!) threw a firework at my head and my hair caught on fire!

One of the most satisfying aspects of writing a blog has been meeting my fellow bloggers from all over the world. I have been able to spread my wings, so to speak, to a kind, forgiving, and supportive audience. I’m inspired, enlightened, and encouraged by reading so many creative bloggers. In this light, I nominate the following 15 bloggers for the One Lovely Blog Award:

I definitely agree with number 3. I hate moving and it’s even worse when it’s international, something I’ve done 4 times. Unfortunately, my wife hates it more, so I end up doing most of it. 🙂
Thanks again for nominating me!

Oh, I have never moved internationally. I can’t imagine. And, to do it 4 times. I guess there’s not many people who enjoy it. But the more you do it, the worse it is. With you moving internationally, you must really hate it! You’re welcome! I love your stories and think you’re an incredible, imaginative writer. 🙂
