I had made lunch plans for sushi at the Blue Nami restaurant before I knew of this week’s photo challenge, Grid. I really had no idea what photos I would have for this challenge, but this little lunch date took care of that. Everywhere I looked at this restaurant, I saw grids! Let’s just say, I’ve never looked at this restaurant this way before nor will I look at it the same way again.
Thanks for this challenge because without it I’m sure I never would have taken these photos. I think they are kind of interesting. I hope you enjoy them.

It seems you found yourself a plethora of grids. There are some really interesting ones. My favourite would be the fish grid.

It was my lucky day, Michelle. I think it’s kind of funny how I just walked into it. It’s nice when that happens. I like that one the most, too! Thank you.

It’s interesting that the challenge caused you to see the restaurant in a different way than you would have otherwise. I need to come up with a way to come up with “challenges” when I’m on my hikes/walks to look at places differently.

I certainly would not have taken those pictures if it weren’t for the challenge. So, hmm….I think themes work out well for trying to hone in on something you might not ordinarily see. You could do bridges or reflections, paths, flowers, or monchrome images. I love finding pathways. That’s one of my favorites.

What are the chances? And such lovely grids you found. I especially like the looping fish, like a melted grid. (Although I was surprised not to see a Bento box. 😉 )

I got really lucky, Jen. Once in a while, luck is on my side. I almost didn’t put the fish in there because I thought it was the least grid-like. But it’s my favorite, too. I didn’t have a Bento box! That would have been a good addition.

Yes, it really is pretty. I guess it really is true that beauty is all around us if we know where to look. (I still think the looking’s going to be easier in some places that others, though!) 😀

I think you may have coined a name for that style decor, Amy. I can see it in the Lowe’s now. Go Grid around your deck for Spring 2016! 😉

Hey, all right! I like it, Mark. Do you think I can trademark it? It could make for quite the fancy deck. 🙂 Go Grid. You won’t be disappointed.
