This week’s photo challenge is Ornate. Forget about subdued and restrained. This week, we are to embrace the breathtakingly extravagant.
I don’t know about you, but this is the prettiest crocodile I’ve ever seen. I spied him somewhere in San Francisco in the Golden Gate Park.

Great image for the challenge. I’ve been to San Francisco a few times, but never the Golden Gate Park. Is it worth a visit?

Thanks, Carrie. I wish I had more of a close-up shot for this. Oh yes, it’s definitely worth the visit. It’s a huge park. I have no idea where I saw this exactly, except it was a playground and we were there for hours. Really fun! 🙂

Now that’s the kind of crocodile I would much prefer to run into at our creek! 😉

Me too, Dianne. I bet you’ve seen a crocodile up close. That would be scary!

I’ve seen them very up close and personal, Amy – I used to work in a croc farm and have even carried small ones around 😉

Wow! I had no idea you worked in a croc farm! You are so brave, Dianne. Are the babies cute and innocent? I think I’d still be very afraid.

The babies are lovely, but they will bite as soon as they leave the eggs so you have to be careful 😀

Oh, I don’t think I will trust the babies no matter how cute they are, Dianne.

That certainly is a pretty friendly looking crocodile. One might even say alluring. Perhaps that’s how he captures his prey. That being said, he looks like he belongs in that place “Primitive Designs” I visited this summer.

I wanted to sit on him for sure. 🙂 I remember that place, Michelle! Yes, he would fit right in. I wonder if he’s already there. I still want to go there someday.

So intricate! I thought for a moment it was part of Gaudi’s park in Barcelona 😊
