We made it to another year! Congratulations everyone.
I have loads of goals this year. I know if I share them on my blog, you’ll hold me to them. I’ll just limit myself to ten.
Here there are:
Get back into dance class. I miss it!
Start my book…write write
Play with my kids outside. No devices!!
Write some more
Think less, write more
Go on a date with my husband…this will be the year
Writing writing writing
Spend more time with friends
Finish my book!!
I really plan to get serious this year. I should post this on my wall.
Here’s a pic of my family….
…IN THE DARK!! Lame.
I dragged my husband and my two boys to this Global Wonderland for New Year’s Eve. This place was a lit up and really cool but they were unimpressed and miserable; they lasted less than an hour before they wanted to go home.
It was cold…even for California. We had to wear hats even and shoes. Actually, it was pretty cold.
But we saw Chinese Acrobats.
I’m not sure what the animal is for the Chinese New Year. But this is all I have. I think it’s a goat this year, but I don’t have a picture of that. So…his cousin.
And a big THANK YOU to all my friends here. Thanks for a great 2014! I love my community here, and I look forward to another superb year together.
Did you make any resolutions for this year you’d like to share? Are you ready for another year or what?
I spent the whole day at the ER with my father. You know the visits to the ER are never planned, and you do a lot of waiting around, waiting for beds, for tests, for news. One hour slips into the next and before you know it, it’s dark and you’re hungry. My father is going to be okay, but it did give me pause. This life we’re all living is short.
A year ago this bunny appeared on my blog. He did, he just jumped in. Last year, I was running for the bunny hills; my purpose to enjoy the small things, the moments in between the big events. I wanted to concentrate on reading books, watching more movies. Do you remember? Me neither, I had to reread it. My point is this…
I needed to bring the bunny back. He gives me hope. Today, my bunny is running faster and jumping higher than ever before. Just look at him!
I mean serious business. For the first time, I have a writing nook, designated for all things writing. And I can lock the door. This is essential. I will write down all my goals and paste them all my walls, and put up inspirational quotes and pictures. It’s time for strategic planning. I’m going to write my heart out.
No more heaviness that nags and discourages. Now more than ever, it’s time to believe in myself. The bunny doesn’t just believe, he knows he can jump really high. I know this, too. I have big changes on the horizon. BIG. Stay tuned.
Blogging friends, I wish you a safe and Happy New Year!! As always, thanks for being here.
