Weekly Photo Challenge – Pure

For this week’s challenge, share a photo of something pure — it can be a person, an object, or a moment.

Here is a picture of my son and his cat Lucky. He is a Lucky cat and my son is lucky to have him.

It’s pure love

pure adoration

they search for each other in their dreams

when they knew each other when

long ago

I know

pure luck

a bond fierce and tight

(and no room for anyone else)

Weekly Photo Challenge: State of Mind

This week’s photo challenge is State of Mind.

This week, let your inner world and the outside one converge in a photo.

Whenever I take photos, I certainly view them as mini, visual stories. But more than that, they can depict what the photographer is thinking or the mood he/she is in.

State of Mind: Calm

I took this photo below while on a walk. My mood and my surroundings were calm. I like this photo because it’s not clear what’s behind the bend, But with a calm mind, I’m fine with that. Although you don’t see it, there’s water out there. I like these little bridges; I pretend I’m somewhere else, some little village, far, far away. A nature walk always clears my head.

Weekly Photo Challenge: Victory

This week’s photo challenge is Victory. It’s about revelling in the win. Certainly, if you’ve worked hard, you deserve to enjoy the victory.

I don’t know if this dog won, but I know he has victory in his eyes and in his heart. He’s practically running on water!

This week’s photo challenge is Ornate. Forget about subdued and restrained. This week, we are to embrace the breathtakingly extravagant.

I don’t know about you, but this is the prettiest crocodile I’ve ever seen. I spied him somewhere in San Francisco in the Golden Gate Park.

Change of Plans

“A lamp for each of us. How thoughtful,” Ellie said coyly.

“I thought we would make the best of this situation. We could take our little picnic down into the basement,” Randy sniffed.

” I prefer the natural light. We might as well make use of it while we have it.”

Randy’s empty stare held her transfixed. As they faced each other across the island, he pressed his knuckles into the granite. She froze, regurgitating bile.

“Look. I see a light outside,” She threw the lamp at his face, the glass smashing into a thousand bits. She bolted towards the door.
